The Richard Powell Golf Day was held for the first time in May 2016 at Addington Palace Golf Club, with the aim of raising money for charity and for Richard's family and friends to get together to remember him each year playing a sport he loved. 

We sincerely thank you for taking the time to assist us in raising money to support St Thomas' Hospital in London which is close to all our hearts.

 
There was nothing that was ever too much trouble for Richard and he would do anything for anyone, especially when it came to his family and friends. Rich was such a truly special and unique person and that is why we are all now united and committed to making a difference and channelling our energies in a positive way to ensure that we keep his memory going in the hearts and minds for causes that are so close to all of us.

The Richard Powell golf day to date has  been very successful over the last three years and as a result we have now established The Richard Powell Foundation as we want to demonstrate our commitment to fund raising and our intention and pledge is that we are able to show longevity and commitment to change lives
